I’ve only had time to write down the chords for this one, but I usually just finger-pick the chords, starting with the bass note and play a random pattern.

Charles in Charge
Of our days and our nights
Charles in Charge
Of our wrongs and our rights

C D G Em
Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly 14 billion years ago expansion started. Wait...
The Earth began to cool,
The autotrophs began to drool,
Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall (we built the pyramids),
Math, science, history, unraveling the mystery,
That all started with the big bang!

Your job's a joke, your broke, your love life's D.O.A.
 G D/F# A
It's like your always stuck in second gear.
        G D/F#
when it hasn't been your day, your week
your month, Or even your year.
     A D E
But I'll be there for you (when the rain starts to pour)
 A D E
I'll be there for you (Like I've been there before)
 A D E G A
I'll be there for you ('Cuz you're there for me too)

hi, i´ve got a question: could you send me the tabs for the “how i met your mother” theme? would be pretty nice!

  • FreddeGredde (author) said:

Benni: You can check out the tabs/chords section on my website. :) There aren’t tabs for it, but you just play those chords and use standard fingerpicking.
    Good luck!

  • Benni said:

    thanks! i´ll try :D

  • Jarl said:

Heejj, I really love this song, and I really want to play it, but some of the chords I don’t know, can you send me the chorddiagrams of the combined chords like A/C of Fm/G# etc.? That would be super!!

    Keep up the good work!

  • FreddeGredde (author) said:

Jarl: Try googling them. :) But they’re not combined. When it’s written for example A/C#, it means that it’s the A chord, but with C# being the bass note.

  • Jarl said:

Ahh, I see! Thank you very much!!

  • Raba said:

Heeyy y want to say you that I know the complete song part by part

I’m talking with google translator sorry!

  • Ukulele said:

    do you play uke?

  • FreddeGredde (author) said:

Ukulele: I could, but I don’t have one.

  • Jon Taylor said:

Well I will say I love your music! I didnt recognize a few cartoons but other then that it was amazing. But anyway are there tabs for the TrueBlood Theme? my mom wants me to learn it?

  • Nando said:

You’re awesome, man. I mean, your videos are great, but you even put the tabs for anybody to play it, that’s very cool of you. Thanks a lot!

  • Quisl said:

@Ukulele If you ever read this: You can use TuxGuitar recalculate from Guitar to Ukulele strings (Copy the guitar tabs and then set the string count to 4 and change the tuning to yours (probably G C E A). But keep in mind that you have to play some notes a little higher than on guitar. ;)

@FreddeGredde Wow nice, this is very inspiring. :D I just found you on YT and I’m looking forward to hear more music from you. Keep up the good work. :)

  • FreddeGredde (author) said:

    Thanks! :)

  • Enya said:

¿ podrías hacer la canción de la serie ” Community”? Es una buena canción y no consigo sacarla.
    Gracias de antemano

  • FreddeGredde (author) said:

esku83: Sorry, I’m not gonna do any more tv themes.

  • jordan wade said:

Fredde! you totally should! the tv theme and the game theme are my favourite!

  • Daniel said:

How do you play the Cdim and C#dim in family guy? Cant figure it out

  • Chris said:

Is there any way you can post a little tutorial on how to play this on guitar and piano? I’m not really a good learner with just chords :)

  • FreddeGredde (author) said:

Sorry, Chris. But it’s usually quite straight-forward. Just use any of the “styles” I’ve tabbed out for “32 songs” or “The Cartoon Medley”, because as long as the chords are correct, it doesn’t matter too much how you play it. :) Good luck!

  • Jo said:

You are really talented! Thank you very much
    Hugs from Argentina :)

  • Keny said:

Do this chords also imply for the piano part of the medley?

By the way, I admire you and your work :)

  • FreddeGredde (author) said:

Keny: All instruments have to play the same chords, otherwise it would sound bad. :)

  • Keny said:

What I mean is if the piano part of the song paly the chords but in a different rythm , for example on the office were it says that it is only an E chord

  • FreddeGredde (author) said:

Keny: Oh. I haven’t really looked at these chords before posting them on my website. I only used them as my own notes, and thought that the Office theme was obvious enough. I’ve written out the chords for it now though!
(You can also look at the video to see what chords I play, to make it easier for you.)

  • Keny said:

Thank you FreddeGredde, I really apreciate you sharing this :)

Just wanted to mention that the firefly theme sounds a lot better with a capo on the 3rd fret.
