I was going to start working on my new YouTube video today, because I need attention when I announce the first info about my album (and telling people about this website) and what better way is there to do that, than making a new FreddeGredde video?!
The “problem” was that a web shop company contacted me, and want to help me set up a FreddeGredde shop, where people can buy t-shirts and other stuff. So I started trying to come up with designs, even though I really don’t know how to do these things.
This is what I came up with as a first draft!
What do you think, and what types of items would you like to buy?
Hello,
You could also make doors-keys, with a picture embedded inside. Plushs with your name written on it (for the girls). The dedicated photos are selling well too.
Anyway,your designs are very nice.
And add more later, a kind of i-tune, where we could buy your musics singly. It would be nice too.
And of course, in August, add your album in the shop.
Good luck from here in August,
;)
(Sorry for the faults)
Hey, thanks for your suggestions! I’ll look it up. :) (Door-keys? Do you mean those small things you put on your key ring?)
And as for music, the album will be up on iTunes and similar sites, so I will probably not have it in this shop.
Thanks! :)
The t-shirts look great! Just don’t forget your more petite fans who wear XS. Haha. And everyone loves a tank top with Summer coming! ;) Keep up the great work, you’re really entertaining and talented. “Wind Waker Unplugged” became a staple of my Christmas playlist after I heard it. Rock out!
Hey, thanks! :) I can’t control the sizes of the t-shirts, but I assume that the smallest sizes are quite small! So it shouldn’t be a problem. :)
Hey Fred, your designs are phenomenal! As a muso myself, I appreciate you incorporating the treble and bass clef into your logo. The crescent moon is also a lovely addition. I love anything that gives you a celestial/cosmic feeling. It’s also perfect because that’s how I feel when I listen to your original songs. This may sound kind of…lame… but listening to “Beside Me” is like looking up into the sky and trying to count the stars. It’s overwhelming and mesmerizing. Basically, I think you have a winner for the design.
If you make these exact items available, I would purchase the first two shirts, the album (please make hard copies available!!), and the poster. I think it’s cool you made women’s shirts available, but you should really make the shirts available for both sexes. There are men who probably want the women’s shirt and women (like myself) who probably like the unisex shirts but wish for a more fitting t-shirt.
The novelty items are cool but I’m not sure they would sell very well.
I hope my input was helpful!
Edit: I didn’t know you already opened up the webstore! Congratulations! I think it’s really cool you offer the option of choosing shirt colors. Though, I stand by what I said before: you should offer all designs for women and men. You’ve done a great job. But the design with the treble clef, bass clef, and crescent moon is only available in mens. Ironically this is the shirt I want the most. I guess I’m biased in this sense but I’m sure I’m not the only female fan who’d like to purchase a women’s shirt with that design :P
Hi Lauren, thanks for your comments! And, I’m really glad you like the design! :) You’re definitely right about the t-shirts. Of course both sexes should have the same designs available. The shop wasn’t supposed to be up officially until the end of next week, so the designs and items aren’t 100% finished yet. I will definitely add a female version of the “FG icon”. :)
Yes!! I’m glad I waited. I impulsively added one of the shirts to my cart and came close to completing my order but I’m glad I hesitated. At least shipping will be easier. Thanks for accommodating my request. You may be a talented musician and songwriter, but you’re also a very considerate person. I know a lot of people overlook it, but I appreciate it and it only makes me more proud to be a fan. When I buy the shirts, I’ll wear them with pride. Thanks again.
Wow, I would totally use that t-shirt with the F and the G. And I must say that it was a great idea to transform the G in a musical note. The mug with the F and the G is great too, as so the men’s hoodie. I wonder if they send it to Brasil…
And the album, do you know if any online store will sell it and send it to Brasil? Like Amazon, for example? I guess I could try to buy on iTunes Store (although I never could buy Vampire Bride there :(), but it’s so nice to have the CD on hands, hehe. But, well, in August I worry about that! =D
Congrats for the website, Freddie, it’s very cool! And good lucky with the album, no doubt it will be a piece of art! ;)
Hey, thanks! Hmm.. The merchandise company I’m working with doesn’t seem to be shipping items to Brazil. =/ I could ask them if they can make an exception for you, and what it would cost! You will *definitely* be able to get your hands on the album though, even if I have to send it to you personally. :)
Ohh, thanks! I hope I don’t have to give you this kind of trouble, hehe! But if there’s no way to buy it online directly from a store, I will accept your idea! :P
Hey, I was thinking, and here are some sugestions for your Shop:
– picks (guitar picks) imprinted with your logo F and G
– caps with FreddeGredde printed by the side, or just F and G on the front, like those caps with NY
– basis for the computer mouse with you picture, logo, lyric of your song…
– notebooks also with some your designe
– pendant with F and G, like necklace…
I like all t-shirts, they are great ^^
You’re gonna have to ask them to make another exception! The FG shirt is awesome! It must be shipped to Brazil! ^^
(and I wouldn’t mind having the album personally delivered to me too! hahahaha)
I love your songs, can’t wait for the album!
I couldn’t have really asked for a much better blog. You are always at hand to provide excellent information, going straight away to the point for easy understanding of your subscribers. You’re really a terrific pro in this arena. Many thanks for remaining there humans like me.
