A short little composition, based on the popular video “Best Cry Ever”.
I found it really interesting when the crying father started to cry in key with the piano in the background, so I made a song of it. I really did it for my own sake, to experiment, but I showed it to a friend who thought it was brilliant (“both sad and funny at the same time”), and she told me that I should make a video for it.
I didn’t really like the idea at first, because I only wanted to upload “masterpieces”, and this was definitely not a masterpiece. But, pushing myself to always do better and better was tiresome, so I put it on my channel anyway. It got mixed reactions, but some people liked it, so I’m happy with it! It shows a different side of me.
(By the way, this composition will be featured in one of the songs on my debut album, released on 13th of August 2011!)
We are a group of volunteers and starting a new scheme in our community. Your site offered us with valuable information to work on. You have done a formidable job and our entire community will be grateful to you.
Hmm.. I’ve no idea what you’re talking about, but uh, you’re welcome, and thanks! ^^
You have talent man have you tryed getting into the music
Not sure what you mean, Bary. I’m already “into the music”. Thanks though!
I really love the way your voice conveyed the feeling of those words. I also love that you heard the music in his words and noticed that they matched the key of the piano. Your friend was right, it is both funny and sad at the same time. Well done.
For me this has to be one of the best blurb re-mixes I’ve seen. I like how it’s not really mocking the moment, but enhancing it. Anyway, you know what they say in the art world, every piece is a learning experience.
Found you today via http://www.huffingtonpost.com – love your sound, and your sense of humour. We all want to churn out all masterpieces all the time, but it’s good to have a laugh sometimes, too. :)
I can’t stop watching this. It’s wonderful. Great job.
Your comment “to push yourself to do better and better” struck me. You have both creativity and imagination, backed by a talent for song using many instruments, including your voice. Trust that instinct as it has served you well, and shines through — even in the videos that don’t seem fit enough for you to post.
Enjoying your work immensely…please keep it up. By all means, don’t ‘George Lucas’ yourself into your own Star Wars prequel.
Ever since I came across your Killer Queen video (which I LOVE!!!) about a week ago, I’ve been trying to figure out who your voice reminds me of. This video did it – your voice bears an amazing resemblance to Ewan McGregor’s singing from the Moulin Rouge movie that came out about ten years ago!!!
Anyway, you’re adorable and very talented and I hope you stick with your music. Best of luck to you!!
Hey can i just say you are awesome !! all your work and videos and inspirational and your latest video on youtube “playing with water” was incredible and the song in it is absolutely outstanding !! cant wait to but your album !!
This is, without question, my favorite of your ditties (though they’re all great). This one, though…there’s just something about it. It showcases your voice, lends credence to your talents, and makes me laugh. Out loud. A lot. Oh, AND, will never be able to be duplicated!!
thats a very good video
I hear this song a lots of time and really i can understand the feeling that you try to transmite, i hope you can make a long version and invent a letter to this.
greetings from santiago, chile.
Are you famous in Scotland? You have an AMAZING voice. Someone posted your Queen video on my facebook today and I’ve searched you and other videos. I think you should move to America and do American Idol or something. I teach 6th grade here in America and plan to show your videos to my students. You have a REAL gift!!!
Weird :D
Argh you are adorable and ridiculously talented! You have acquired a new fan :D
I’m having trouble finding this mp3 available for purchase/download.
It’s actually part of the song “Meltdown”, and it’s probably not what you’d want. :P So sorry, there’s no available mp3 for this exact clip. But you can just google “download youtube mp3”, and you’ll find websites that let you download that audio from youtube videos in a very easy and simple way.
