Alright, so after almost two years of radio silence, I guess it’s time to try updating this regularly again. Hello!
First I want to get the last two years out of the way: I’ve been traveling. I wanted to get away from everything, and try new things. This will be a long update with lots of pictures, and after this, I will tell you about the future. (You can hover your mouse above the pictures to see little comments, and click for full view.)
So, first I spent a few months in Israel, Italy, Malta and Morocco:

After that, a couple of months in Argentina and Uruguay:

Then a few months in Brazil:

Followed by a month or two in Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia and Peru:

Then I continued my Latin America trip through Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama and Costa Rica. Too many stories to tell, really. If you’ve got any questions, you’re free to send me a comment/message! :)

Then I went back to Europe, and had a shorter trip through Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia. Then I stayed a month in Spain, and ended with Denmark before I returned for a short visit back in Sweden.

Now I have rented an apartment in the Philippines, and I’ve started planning/working on some new videos and a new (more pop oriented) album, which I hope people will enjoy!
That’s it! Don’t believe the rumors; I’m still alive, and still planning to do more youtube stuff, one day!

Fiderian: Hmmm, just Brazil in general, I guess! I was there for 3 months but still saw so little of it, and I loved it there! But other than that, I prefer going to new places and having new experiences, rather than returning to old ones. :)
Omg I missed you so much. These photos are amazing, looks like you are living the dream! Were you travelling alone? How was that? Wasn’t travelling through Europe kind of boring compared to your other journeys?

I hope you loved Argentina <3 where did you stay and when?
Mulan: I was traveling alone, yes, but I was usually hanging and staying with people that I’ve talked to online, music friends, couchsurfing people, stuff like that! Hmmmmm, yes, South America was more exciting for me than Europe, can’t deny. :D
Mark: It’s not ready for sneak peeks! But I might try to show little glimpses of the process, down the line! :)
AnotherPunkStar: I liked Argentina! It feels like yesterday, but it was actually around november-december 2014… Yikes, how fast time passes. I was a bit of everywhere. Mostly Buenos Aires, La Plata, Córdoba, Neuquen, Bariloche.

my biggest worries of taking a break and traveling alone for long:
– getting bored alone and feeling lonely
– not getting a job when i finish my trip and being broke :D
i guess for a talented musician like you, you would have had lots of fans all along your trip and good plans to do after the trip.
Manu: I’ve been much less alone while traveling, than when I lived in Sweden. And I’ve spent less money per month when being on the road, staying at people’s places, than when living in Sweden and do nothing but pay for rent and food.
But sure, you have to be the type who people want to host and hang with, for that to happen. :D I’m just lucky. And less than half the people I’ve stayed with have been “fans”.
And yeah, you still need some money saved up. Small jobs are not too hard to find while traveling though! I worked for a month at a hostel in Italy and it was a great experience!
You can always try to travel just for 3-6 months. :) It’s definitely a self-developing experience.
Craciun: No, I didn’t understand a single word. :( And I did plan to visit Romania too, but then it just didn’t happen.

It’s great to hear you have spent some time travelling! I would love to know how enjoyed Machu Picchu. When I visited, I did a couple of short hikes through the peaks but did not get to do the multi-day hike to Machu Picchu.

Susan: To be fair, I was only in Chile for a bit more than a week, and only in the north, in Arica. :) I had a good time there though!
Celina: Well, so me and a friend did it the cheap way, traveling by bus through small villages, and after a night in Ollantaytambo, we got in a van that dropped us off by the train tracks. From there, we hiked along it for a few hours to reach Aguas Calientes, at the foot of the Machu Picchu mountain. It was tiring but rewarding to walk!
Then the next morning, we skipped the tourist buses that take people up to the peak, and instead hiked along that old native track, and wow, was THAT tiring, to climb so steep for so long! :D It was not that multi-day pathway, but it still definitely felt like we experienced something that none of the other tourists did. And I don’t know if we were smart or dumb, but right after we arrived to the ruins, we decided to keep climbing, up to the top of the Machu Picchu mountain, which was another two hours of endless ancient stairs. But it was a cool experience, and great view!
I had read the book “Turn Right at Machu Picchu” and knew the history and myths about the place, so we didn’t bother with a tour guide, though we did sneak-listen to some other guides when we were exploring the entire place. But to be honest, I was not THAT amazed by the actual village. I don’t believe that there are supernatural powers or spiritual vibes there, so I just appreciated how long it must have taken to build that whole thing, so far away from everything. And I didn’t like how crowded it is, with tourists crawling everywhere. I kind of think that they should stop with the buses, so that if you want to see Machu Picchu, you need to hike, as a rite of passage, and it will feel more rewarding, and it will be more peaceful up there.
Anyway, our legs were dying as we climbed all the way down again, and for the next week, it hurt like hell to climb even one step of a staircase. :D We were laughing about how crippled we were.
That’s uh, one way of re-telling that trip.

Alexandra: Yeah sorry, I like hot weather and beaches. :) Russia hasn’t really ever attracted me. It’s too similar to Sweden..
Can you tell about your experience in Ecuador?
Luigi: Hmmmm, I liked it! I came to Guayaquil by bus from Peru, stayed there a short while (it was super hot and no beach nearby), and then I went to Salinas and La Libertad, and stayed for a whole week with a really nice host family that had a 4 year old daughter! I got to practice my spanish with her. :D There were nice beaches and I had a good time.
Then I continued to Manta and stayed there for a short while. Then I went to Quito and stayed there for maybe a week. I had a good time, but I didn’t like how cold it was, and it was reaaally big, I was in traffic a lot of the time and it was tiresome. Went to that equator tower, and saw some other stuff around there. Then I continued by bus over to Colombia.
