The wayfarer travels there
Through the night and day
he finds his way
Always searches for an answer
Never ends this searching endeavor
In the dark of the night
Only I hear his plight
Only as the rain plunges down
Will he rest his tired feet
‘Cause he’s the wayfarer
The only sound, his steps on the ground
Lonely thoughts swirl round his head
Wishing the waiting would just stop
He walks on through the dusk and dawn
In the dawn’s morning light
He sees a glimmer of a sight
And as the sun parts the clouds
will he smile and carry on
‘Cause he’s the wayfarer
He’s the wayfarer
Always looking always for her
