A mashup of music from all the mainline Zelda games!
It was the only logical next step after Mario and Pokémon, and people kept asking for it, so here’s my Zelda medley! I planned to do it in just the same style as the previous two, but adding real drums by Louis Abramson from progressive/alternative rock band JOLLY was just too cool to pass on. It gave the whole medley more of a rock feel, but I’m really happy with the results! Hopefully you guys like it too.
You can buy the song along with my Video Game Experiments album if you want to support me, or get it for free along with bonus content like tabs and different mixes/stems of the medley, by joining JOLLY’s Patreon page.
Update: Oh, and a lot of people are asking what the purple Link is playing in the video: It’s called taishogoto, also known as Nagoya harp! It’s a Japanese string instrument that I actually bought just for this video, because I wanted something that made the video and music stand out a little. Hope you enjoyed it!
Hey Fredde! long time fan and im curious on what kind of flute you use.
Hi there!
They are tin whistles. One is a regular in the key of C. And the other is a low G whistle. :)
Another masterpiece! Thanks so much Freddie and congratulations.
Thanks Howard! :)
Great
Medley ! You look like you really enjoyed the cosplay 😊
I really loved your video, but one question is burning inside of me and I can’t find an answer… please Tell me what Instrument purple link is playing
Hey Ole! It’s a taishogoto, also called Nagoya harp. :)
Thanks!
hey Fredde whta is the name of the instrument that the purple link is playing through the song?
Hi Matheus! It’s a taishogoto, also known as a Nagoya harp! :)
Hi FreddeGredde!
I was wondering what instrument redline was playing. To me it looked like a recorder but thinner.
Thanks!
Hi! I assume you meant red Link when you said redline? 😅 It’s called a tin whistle though! :)
Take care!
I want to cry. You are beautiful
Thank you! ❤
is there a possibility that you could release the full orchestration sheet music? would absolutely love to play this at a high school band concert
Hi Conor! Really sorry, but that sounds like a ton of work. 😂 I don’t even use sheet music, so it would be a one year project for me.
But, you guys are musicians, I’m sure you can figure it out! 😊
Good luck!
