GAMEPLAY: Attack an enemy, dash away, attack again, dash away. The gameplay is extremely grindy, but testing different powerups and abilities each run is where the real fun lies.
AUDIOVISUALLY: It’s an alright hand-drawn style. the music is okay, and the voice acting is cool.
STORY/PRESENTATION: Lots of dialog and lore, and it helps fighting the gameplay repetition to a degree.
I really hated it at first, with only 4 “worlds” and extreme repetition. But on my mission to beat the game, something eventually clicked. I don’t think I’ll play it again, but this is the first time I respect and enjoy a roguelite.
