It’s finally the ultimate doomsday year; 2012! But I hope that the new year has been good for you all so far! I’m wearing a new hat.

So, I guess the plan for 2012 is to finish my Ultimate Video Game Medley (35 songs on the list so far!), that has been collecting dust for a few years now. The Disney Medley should also be made this year. And I’m gonna work on a new album.

I’m also open for interviews and stuff, so if you wanna ask me things for your blog or whatever, feel free to contact me! Here’s a weird one I did recently, so if you want to me to link to yours, it has to be at least as good as this one!

Unfortunately, I couldn’t take Moritz‘s votes seriously, because 56 of his 86 votes were from the same internet host, so even though it’s possible that he didn’t cheat, all the other entries had votes spread out evenly from all over the world.
Also, only one person except for himself voted on it in the comment box to the voting post. Finally, we decided that hand-drawn designs didn’t work too well on T-shirts. So there you go!

Thanks for all the people contribution though, and congratulations to Isabell and Urszula! :) I’ll contact you via email so that you can choose prizes.

Argh, I always underestimate how hard it is to make these videos.. Hmm.. I’ll try to finish it tonight or tomorrow, because it would be slightly sad if I didn’t make a Christmas video this year either!

Since it’s almost Christmas, and there will be free delivery from the Merchandise shop during Dec 27 – Jan 2, I figured we should have a new contest!

So, you now have a week to make a nice FreddeGredde related design, that could be on T-shirts, mugs, umbrellas or whatever, and send in to me. During Dec 26 – 27 people will be able to vote on the ten best designs, and the winner gets a free T-shirt or CD! Just send in your design before the 26th!
Also, the best designs will be available for purchase in the shop (and you’ll get 25% of the money made on your design).

Enock Boheme asked: Do you use glasses? In the Cartoon Medley, one of the “you” on the background uses, so that’s why I’m asking!

And well, I do have bad eye-sight, but I got that pair of glasses at least 8 years ago now. I just don’t like glasses (or contact lenses), so I prefer walking around half blind instead!

Another question, from Martingredde: Will you make a guitar tutorial someday? I would like to learn how to make chords in the way you do and guitar techniques.

Yes, I will! Hmm.. Next year! But I have planned a little on how to do it. :)

The results for this poll are quite even. But most seem to prefer when there are lots of instruments going on at the same time. We will see what I’ll do, because it depends on whether it fits and stuff. So, some parts might be just me and the guitar, and then it builds into something with lots of instruments!

As for the new poll, I’m simply curious about where you’re all from. :) Are there mostly Europeans (or even Scandinavians?), or maybe North Americans? Maybe I have hundreds of African fans?!
It remains to be seen!

People have been asking for ways to download MP3’s of my Wind Waker Unplugged and Mega Man 9 Rock Medley, so I added an album in my shop now, consisting of video games songs I’ve recorded in the past!

2. Mega Man 9 Rock Medley
You’ve probably heard this one too. Probably still my personal favorite of the videos I’ve made so far! Along with Lonely Starlight and The Star Song.
3. Super Smash Bros A Cappella
A quite silly recording, made by me and a friend named Caroline. Everything was recorded with our voices (and clapping) around 2006 or so. But it’s a fun song, I think!
4. Phoenix Wright Medley
This is only the first two minutes of a medley that was planned to be six minutes, but I still think it’s worth listening to! That game has such great music..
5. Piano Kirby
A soft version of the most popular Kirby theme. I had planned to make an animated video for it, with Kirby, Jigglypuff, Mario and the rest of the gang fighting in the rain, and Jigglypuff falling to her death. Kirby, being in love with her, starts crying and stuff. :( So sad.
6. Mega Man Bowser
The opening for a Nintendo medley that I never finished. Consisting of some Mega Man song, followed by what I think is the boss level from Mario64.
7. Video Game Songs With Lyrics
You’ve heard this one already.
8. Jazz of Storms
Just some old improv of the Song of Storms theme from Zelda. Not great by any means, but some parts are quite groovy, I think!
9. Solstice
One of my favorite recordings! I made it way back in 2007, and it was so much better sounding than anything I had produced before that. The song is the opening song from the NES game Solstice, which has really proggy music!

Sorry that I’ve been updating so rarely this last month. But I’m a confused boy, so I don’t even know what to post. Someone (Lawrie!) said I should use my laptop as a hat and post it, so I’m doing that now.

Any other suggestions? Maybe you have questions you’d like me to answer? Maybe you want me to start up a new contest, with Christmas gifts as prizes? Maybe you want more silly pictures?

Anything, and I’ll try to make it a reality!
