As we can see, the Killer Queen video has been doing great! Only The TV Theme Medley and The Cartoon Medley have been doing better first weeks. They all have had their bumps at the beginning though, and there’s no way of telling how long it’s going to take to reach a million, for example. (The TV Theme Medley did it in 10 days, The Cartoon Medley in 2 months.)
And then we have 32 songs in 8 minutes, which started so incredibly slowly, but ended up doing better and better for each month, until some publisher got scared and told YouTube to remove it.
Interesting statistics. The different y-axes made it a little difficult to compare, but it seems the trend for Killer Queen is most similar to the Cartoon Medley. Still, it’s a shame if Killer Queen needs 2 months to reach a million, and I hope it’ll be a much faster process! :)
Anything enlightening about the stats on demographic profiles (a/s/l) of the viewers, or the number of ‘likes’, ‘favourites’ and ‘comments’?
Nah, A/S/L is very similar for all my videos. Around 70-75% are male (but for ages 13-17 it’s 50-50 between girls and boys), and the views are *very* evenly spread out on all ages. 20% for 13-17, 18% for 18-24, 18% for 25-34, 18% for 35-44, and the rest for 45+.
…. Hang on, I was only looking at the last week. =/ (Not that weird, considering how Killer Queen got popular in the 70’s.)
My all-time demographics have been 33% of the ages 13-17, 20% of ages 18-24 (only 5% of females of ages 18-24 :/ Maybe because those normally don’t bother setting up a youtube account, hah.), 15% of ages 25-34, and even lower for the rest.
The largest specific group is girls of the ages 13-17, making 20% of my total views. (34% of all views are by females.)
Where my views are from:
40% USA
7.7% Canada
6.8% Germany
6.5% UK
5.2% Sweden
3.1% Brazil
2.2% Australia
2.1% Netherlands
1.8% Mexico
1.8% France
Interesting how most of your views come from the USA. And your own country is in 5th place…
You and your family/friends need to spread the word about your channel! :D
BigLord: Well, we only have 9 million people in Sweden, compared to 300 million in the US. :) So, Sweden has the highest ratio on the list!
